About us

Blood Bikes 4 Pets is a brand new not-for-profit, soon to be charity, that is working to create the UK’s first professional motorbike blood delivery service for pets.

Blood delivery motorcycles are a common sight on the roads, working with the NHS to deliver lifesaving products for patients. Our mission is to establish a similar service for our beloved pets.

Our team

Founder Tom Watkins is no stranger to creative ideas in pet welfare. Tom created the UK and Europe's first ever specialist Missing Pet Search Team, Animal Search UK in 1999. Tom’s involvement as Managing Director in this mission ended in 2018 after he lost his voice in an unexplained life changing episode. He then took on a supporting role until 2022. This occurred after a very successful collaboration he originally initiated with the RSPCA became official.

Now, Tom is putting his mind to an organisation that involves less talking than the in-depth investigations of pet search. Combining his 35 year passion for pets and motorbikes, Blood Bikes 4 Pets is set to become as successful as his last venture.

Supported by Honda

The Africa Twin Motorcycle is on loan from Honda. When they heard about our exciting plans, they offered to support us. They have been instrumental in helping to make this brand new concept in animal welfare the reality it now is. A big thank you to Honda.
